What started as a 1980s Department-of-Agriculture trial is now an eight-acre family tea farm at the entrance to the Huon Valley. Under the umbrella names Tassie-T and Dry Ideas, owners John and Sue process cool-climate green and smoked black teas entirely on site, selling them farm-gate and online—true “Tasmanian farm-to-table” tea.
