Kelana teh Wahid

A collective of young Sundanese growers and filmmakers, Kelana teh Wahid (“Wahid’s Tea Journey”) was born as both a micro-lot tea brand and a storytelling project: its founders travel Java by motor-bike documenting forgotten hillside tea gardens, then turn the best leaf into limited releases such as Java Maocha sheng puer and Mirah Kelawa black. The label’s first two teas collected Silver and Bronze medals at Australia’s Golden Leaf Awards, while the companion short film won backing from the Sumawinata Institut at the Akatara Film Forum. Profits cycle back into on-farm youth training so more Wahids can keep wandering for tea
