Mother-and-daughter Alison and Gina da Silva opened The Silva Spoon in 2009 to share the rooibos culture they grew up with in South Africa. Today their Cotton Tree emporium stocks 300+ loose teas, hosts high-tea parties for up to ten guests and roasts South-American coffee twice a week. Gina, a certified tea sommelier, curates award-winning signature blends and runs tasting workshops by the beach.
