Located in Cotton Tree on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, The Silva Spoon is an award-winning tea house known for its relaxed atmosphere, house-baked cakes and treats, curated tea selection and signature high tea experiences. Established in 2009 by the da Silva family, the venue quickly became a beloved destination for tea lovers.

In 2025, long-time customer Fabrizia Roberto and her husband Nick Laolao became the custodians of the tea house, continuing its legacy while evolving the guest experience. In their first year of ownership, The Silva Spoon added further recognition at the Golden Leaf Awards, building on the venue’s impressive history of multiple wins, including several Best Tea House in Queensland titles.

Today The Silva Spoon continues its award-winning tradition, welcoming both locals and visitors to discover exceptional teas and the art of slowing down over a perfectly brewed pot.
